Virgin Media has rolled out its first mobile broadband service. The service claims to offer speeds of up to 3.6Mbps and is available on an 18-month contract that comes with 3GB of data every month. The ISP claims this is sufficient to send 2,000 plain text emails as well as browse the web for 100 hours and make 100 two-minute downloads every month.Priced at £15 per month (E18.8), subscribers will receive a USB modem that can be plugged into a laptop and uses the mobile phone network to provide online access.
