OnLive gaming package coming to BT Vision

A new gaming service will be available through BT’s TV packages in 2011. The OnLive platform has just made its debut in the US and will be launched in the UK towards the end of next year.
BT said games usually available on consoles will be offered through the platform. “Over time, as consumer broadband connectivity increases and as games become more complex, we expect cloud-based distribution models for gaming to become increasingly attractive and mainstream.”
As well as being available through BT, the service is also set to be open to those who subscribe to deals from the likes of Plusnet.
