STRONG launches high performance HD+ Satellite Receiver SRT 7805

October 13, 2010

ARD, ZDF and five other broadcasters transmit High Definition programmes free-to-air in Germany  whereas RTL, SAT1, Pro7, VOX, Kabel1 and SPORT1, which is starting from November 1 st, can  only be received with an HD+ compatible satellite receiver. Set-top box specialist STRONG is now  launching its fully equipped SRT 7805 satellite receiver. With its built-in HD+ card reader and first  class design the SRT 7805 is tailor made for brilliant reception of HD+ broadcasts and free-to-air  HD channels.

It takes less than one minute to connect the SRT 7805 to the HDMI input of your TV and complete  the installation procedure. Get set to enjoy high end satellite TV in fantastic HD-quality. The menu  and electronic program guide with HD optimized graphics are easy to navigate. Just like paper TV  guides, the Electronic Programme Guide provides detailed event information, giving you a full  overview of all upcoming programmes. And what’s more: just by pressing a button on the remote  control, you will get a list of your recently watched channels along with the current EPG  information.

Enjoy a great variety of HD programmes with the readily inserted HD+ card. Record and play back  your favourite events and listen to music or watch photos from external USB devices, which may  well be larger than 1 terabyte. Of course, you can pause live TV and resume later (Time Shift)*.  Connect the STRONG SRT 7805 via the optical S/PDIF output to your home cinema amplifier and  enjoy theatre quality audio in Dolby Digital Plus.

STRONG’s HD Satellite Receiver SRT 7805 is equipped with a comprehensive set of comfortable  features like favourite lists, timers, teletext, subtitling and automated software update via satellite  during standby. A set of front panel buttons allows you to control the SRT 7805 under all  conditions, even when the remote control is temporarily lost.      The top class STRONG SRT 7805 HD+ Receiver will be available on the German market from end  of October.
