Actiontec wins ‘Best Of Sunnyvale’ Award for third consecutive year

Actiontec Electronics announced that it has received a “Best of Sunnyvale” award from the U.S. Local Business Association (USLBA). Actiontec has now won this prestigious award three years in a row. According to the USLBA, less than 1 per cent of 2010 award recipients nationwide qualified as a three-time award winner.

The USLBA “Best of Local Business” Award Programme recognises outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USLBA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.

Actiontec was honored in the Electronic Equipment and Supplies category. Various sources of information were gathered and analysed to choose the winners in each category.

“We’re truly honored to receive this prestigious award from the USLBA. We strongly believe that local businesses form the backbone of our country’s economy, and we’re committed to being a productive member of our community,” said Brian Henrichs, chief business development officer at Actiontec Electronics. “As the heart of Silicon Valley, Sunnyvale is a tremendous force in innovation, and we’re particularly honored to represent this dynamic region.”

Actiontec is one of the largest CPE and IPTV CPE suppliers in North America, offering a wide range of broadband access products (VDSL modems and other DSL routers), fiber IPTV routers, and home networking solutions (including wireless, Powerline/HomePlug, MoCA, and HPNA). The company has garnered more than ten awards in 2010 for its technical innovations from leading broadband industry and business organizations.

U.S. Local Business Association (USLBA) is a Washington D.C. based organisation funded by local businesses operating in towns, large and small, across America. The purpose of USLBA is to promote local business through public relations, marketing and advertising.
