Espial partners with Conklin-Intracom to upgrade IPTV service for Oneida Telephone Exchange

December 9, 2010

Espial, a specialist in On-Demand TV solutions, have partnered with Conklin-Intracom to upgrade the IPTV system for Oneida Telephone Exchange.

Conklin-Intracom addresses the North American IPTV service provider customer base with fs|cdn, an integrated middleware and conditional access solution. Oneida Telephone Exchange is an independent telephone company serving triple play services to the City of Oneida, Illinois and its rural areas as part of the Western Illinois Video (WIV) consortium of eight rural telephone service providers.

* Espial MediaBase is now integrated with the Conklin-Intracom fs|cdn IPTV solution which has strong momentum in the North American market. This partnership provides North American customers with another great choice for launching IPTV services.

* Oneida Telephone Exchange selected fs|cdn to replace their existing middleware solution. One of the key selection criteria was Conklin-Intracom’s responsiveness to feature requests. Conklin-Intracom is considered a partner that not only commits to new functionality but also delivers as promised. Based on the existing functionality and their ability to deliver new features, Oneida considers fs|cdn the most dependable IPTV solution for their business.

* fs|cdn’s unique architecture enables elegant, cost-efficient scaling to accommodate from 100 to 100,000 or more end users. It enables delivery of linear and on-demand TV, DVR, chat, email, messaging, and next-generation interactive services.

* OnediaTelephone has been using Espial MediaBase for over 3 years with content from Avail-TVN. They currently provide a VOD service to their customers and expect to grow this to additional services as they grow.
