ioko’s User Experience division, iokointeractive, recruits new Creative Director, Art Director, and User Experience Architect to meet growing client demand

ioko, the digital media systems integrator behind the world’s leading media platforms, today announced the appointment of three senior hires to its User Experience division, iokointeractive. Reflecting the company’s continued growth, ioko brings on board Leigh Brett as Creative Director, Chris Gannon as Art Director, and Miles Davies as User Experience Architect.

ioko has continued to expand its User Experience team over the past few months, in order to meet growing demand for connected device strategies. The recent explosion in the number of video-enabled devices hitting the marketplace has meant that consumer expectations for video services are at an all time high. Not only do consumers want to watch content on any device, from any location and at any time, but they also expect nothing less than a seamless user and brand experience, which is where iokointeractive’s expertise really excels.

“With consumers today expecting a consistent brand and user experience across all service and product offerings, it has become absolutely essential to marry together the design and technology elements of connected device strategies. This is what has enabled iokointeractive to continue to go from strength to strength,” said Tanya Lidstone, VP of User Experience at ioko. “Leigh, Chris and Miles are excellent additions to our User Experience division, and their appointments are an endorsement to the quality and expertise of iokointeractive. We look forward to working with them to drive further growth for ioko.”

With over a decade of experience in digital design communication, Leigh Brett joins ioko as Creative Director. His portfolio includes some of the world’s biggest and best-known brands, such as Johnson & Johnson, Sky, Microsoft, AOL and Lloyds of London. Having worked both client-side and for high-profile consultancies, Leigh will use his experience to focus on creating memorable digital brand experiences through an interaction with cutting-edge design thinking and execution.

Chris Gannon has over eleven years’ experience of working in digital media, across a number of sectors including Fashion, Retail, Entertainment, Financial and Telecommunications, for brands including River Island, Sky, Tesco, BBC, Nike, Microsoft, and Aviva. At ioko, Chris will be focusing on clients in the Media and Entertainment sector, and will be implementing strong communication strategies and creative executions between company and consumer.

Miles Davies brings a wealth of expertise to iokointeractive, having worked with clients such as ITN Source, AAA, RNID, Nature Publishing Group and more recently Isotrak, the logistics and tracking company. Miles will be utilising his user-insight driven experience to implement client-focused strategies on high-profile projects.

Based on the sustained growth of customer demand, ioko is looking to further expand its team and continues to actively recruit.
