TriCaster TCXD850 chosen to produce and stream China Acrobatic Troupe performance

December 15, 2010

After receiving their first TriCaster TCXD850 demo unit, NewTek Specialist Dealer IDCromvideo made a real field test. The newest, award-winning member of the TriCaster family in HD/SD with 8 inputs and 22 channels was chosen to cover a series of events celebrated in Xátiva, Spain, at the occasion of the city’s annual fair known as the “Feria de Agosto de Xátiva”.

This series of events started with the opening of the fair and the show performed by the China National Acrobatic Troupe. Modosdever, the audiovisual company in charge of covering the event, used NewTek TriCaster TCXD850 to power and feed the venue’s two giant screens as well as to stream the event live on the web.

TriCaster TCXD850’s performance was “outstanding”, commented Modosdever’s operators and technicians. Confident about the power and stability of the system, the company opted to use it to produce and stream the subsequent events celebrated this week in the context of the fair.

“This first experience with TriCaster TCX850 was a real success!” said Sergio Ballesteros, from IDCromvideo, who assured the support and technical assistance throughout the event. “Even as a demo unit, its performance was exceptional!”

“It’s amazing what you can do with TriCaster! The equipment was very easy to handle, even for someone using it for the first time. The system showed no fatigue nor suffered failure of any kind. It largely fulfilled my expectations!” commented Manuel Tomas, Technical Director at Modosdever.

With TriCaster, anyone can simultaneously produce, live stream, broadcast, project and record HD and SD network-style productions. A single operator can switchbetween multiple cameras, virtual inputs and live virtual sets, while inserting clips, titles and motion graphics with multi-channel effects. TriCaster is used by broadcasters, audiovisual companies, sports organizations, schools, houses of worship, government agencies and others to provide a new level of extended programming and content to their audiences.
