Sky Italia reaches 5m subs

Sky Italia says it has signed its five millionth sub and now reaches 15 million people across Italy. Andrea Zappia, Chief Executive Officer of Sky Italia, commented: “First and foremost, I’d like to thank our customers for entrusting their viewing to Sky. The achievement of the 5 million milestone encourages us to continue to strive to be the best in all that we do and to continue to innovate. In a challenging market, I feel confident that we can continue to grow by continuing to invest in creativity and innovation.”

The company claims Sky Italia has created directly and indirectly more than 15,000 jobs and generated over €15.9 billion to the Italian economy.
