April 24, 2012

MTV, EMI Music and BBC World will give keynote addresses at the Digital Asset Management World Summit – a timely event for those in the content management industry who are looking to safely distribute their content in a profitable way.

Outlining the reasons for organising the event, Laurence Coldicott, Senior Producer of Digital Asset Management World Summit said, “It is clear that currently broadcasters are evolving in order to take on the challenges of an increasingly multi-platform eco-system. The key issues around using the right Media Asset Management platforms and having a strong Digital Rights strategy continue to be huge challenges. This event attempts to address those challenges by bringing together some of the major industry gurus who have innovated and succeeded on a global level. ”

Kicking off the Summit will be Thomas Popma, VP, Channel Development from MTV Networks who will talk about Delivering a 24 hour Multiplatform Workflow Platform. Richard Piercy, EVP Technology & Digital Supply Chain, EMI Music, will open day two of the event with a keynote address on Understanding the Shift from Operational Mechanics to Value Driven Approaches.

The Digital Asset Management World Summit will take place on 26-27 June 2012 at the Okura in Amsterdam, Netherlands. All tickets will include an official MTV Studio tour.
