Focus science on DTT Italy this summer
June 28, 2012
The TV version of the popular science magazine Focus is set to launch on digital terrestrial television this summer in Italy.
The channel, available on position 56, is the result of an agreement between Switchover Media and Gruner+Jahr/Mondadori, which owns the brand of the biggest selling monthly in Italy with its 6.4 million readers.
The free-to-air channel will air factual programs, mainly targeted at an adult and male audience.
Focus TV will further boost the existing TV offer of Switchover Media that includes the K2, Frisbee, GXT and Giallo channels, which in May had a 1.05 per cent audience share over the entire day.
