TalkTalk to carry UKTV channels

July 26, 2012

UKTV, the independent television network co-owned by BBC Worldwide and Scripps Networks International, has inked a major deal with TalkTalk to carry all of its branded channels and selected video-on-demand programmes on TalkTalk’s YouView platform.

TalkTalk subscribers will have access to all of UKTV’s pay TV channels (Watch, Gold, Alibi, Eden, Good Food, Home and Blighty) via the TalkTalk Player, joining Sky and Virgin which currently carry the network’s suite of pay channels. UKTV’s Freeview channels (Dave, Really and Yesterday) will also be available on YouView, and TalkTalk will be initially offering channel-branded VoD content from UKTV’s factual channel Eden and leading food channel, Good Food.
