Endavo Media powers Karaoke Party on Demand’s Roku launch

December 11, 2012

Endavo Media’s OTT Video Services Platform was used by DigiTrax Entertainment to launch two new karaoke channels on Roku. Karaoke Party on Demand, a subscription channel, displays thousands of karaoke-style music titles and lyrics on televisions equipped with the Roku player.

The $4.99 monthly service features thousands of songs from genres such as country pop/rock, urban/R&B, holiday, standards, oldies, and religious music. Subscribers can browse for and locate the songs of their choice through the Roku user interface. For consumers interested in sampling the service, a separate Karaoke Party on Demand Free channel gives users free access to a limited number of titles to try out before subscribing.

“We’re excited to showcase our Roku app development capabilities with the launch of the free and subscription-based Karaoke Party on Demand channels,” said Paul D Hamm, Endavo Media’s president and CEO. “Content delivery through an OTT video service like Roku is a good fit for DigiTrax’s line of karaoke entertainment products.”

“Endavo Media provided much more than just an app platform for our Karaoke Party on Demand channels,” commented Joe Vangieri, President and CEO at DigiTrax Entertainment. “The team at Endavo supported not only our technical and operational requirements for our Roku video service, but also continues to share their deep knowledge of the overall OTT market to help us grow our business.”
