February 26, 2013

beIN SPORT France selected STRONG, a provider of digital TV reception systems in Europe, as their major partner to offer the service with two Digital High Definition Satellite Receivers. beIN SPORT is a global network of sports channels operated by the broadcaster AJSF. Since the summer of 2012 it operates two channels in France: beIN SPORT 1 and beIN SPORT 2.

beIN SPORT holds the rights to broadcast major association football tournaments including LIGUE 1 and LIGUE 2, the UEFA Champions League, the EUROPA League and further the NBA, the NFL, the ATP Tour and other major sports events. The beIN SPORT line up also includes golf, basketball, rugby as well as car and motor racing.

Bertrand Radiguet, Managing Director of STRONG France, says: “We are very proud of the partnership. beIN SPORT broadcasts the biggest events guaranteeing exciting moments and great sport entertainment.” To access beIN SPORT via Fransat, STRONG offers a range of two HD receivers including 4 months subscription free access to beIN SPORT 1 and beIN SPORT 2 of which 2 months are free of charge: the THOMSON HD satellite receiver THS802 and the Globsat HD satellite receiver GS2000.

Both receivers are Fransat approved and offer access to all Fransat channels, which was expanded with six new terrestrial HD channels in December 2012. The THOMSON branded THS802 is a versatile HD satellite receiver that can be connected to a TV either via HDMI or SCART. The built-in USB port turns the THS802 to a multimedia station for playback of movies, music and photo files. Recording of favourite programmes to an external USB device is as easy and convenient as it could get.
