Ocean Blue Software’s Sunrise DVB stack and PVR core support Broadcom’s chipset range for set top boxes.
Ocean Blue’s broadly deployed middleware solution is now available for Broadcom’s set-top box chipset range, offering a feature rich capability for DVB-T/T2, S/S2 and C solutions. This includes Freeview HD, PVR, USB PVR, and MHEG-5 that can be customised to various different country profiles.
“We are delighted to be working with Broadcom, and the combination of Ocean Blue’s comprehensive middleware solutions with Broadcom’s extensive range of chipsets will be of undoubted benefit to our joint customers,” said Paul Martin, CEO of Ocean Blue. “Ocean Blue is looking forward to further enhancing this offering with our new Horizon connected middleware (DVB, HbbTV and HTML-5) for the Broadcom family of chipset solutions.”
