Norwegian cable operator GET has selected the Cisco Videoscape Unity video services delivery platform to transform its TV service and enable the deployment of next-generation entertainment experiences, including personalised and synchronised TV across multiple devices.

The new video service from GET will enable flexible TV viewing in the home and on the go, with unified broadband and TV experiences. Upon the launch of the new service, subscribers will be able to view content on multiple screens, with access to an extensive lineup of linear channels – complemented by on-demand content and digital video recorder (DVR) functionality.

Cisco has also announced that Telenet, a cable TV operator in Belgium, has selected the Cisco Videoscape Snowflake user interface to provide advanced navigation of content and services across their platform.

As part of Telenet’s enhanced Yelo TV service, Cisco Videoscape Snowflake will provide a streamlined user interface across multiple devices, fulfilling the operator’s vision to enable subscribers to watch what they want, when they want and where they want – with an uninterrupted experience between devices.
