Titanic 3D on Sky Italia

Sky Italia’s Sky 3D channel will be the world’s first TV channel to broadcast the new 3D edition of the James Cameron blockbuster, Titanic In 3D, starring Leonardo Di Caprio and Kate Winslet.
The world première, in its first 3D release, will air on July 14th at 9.10pm on Sky 3D (Sky Italia channel 150) and simultaneously on Sky Cinema 1 HD.
The 3D conversion of Titanic took one year and an over $18 million investment. The aim, as producer Jon Landau said, was to “make the best possible conversion: we want people to watch and enjoy the 3D-viewing experience because that would provide them with a good reason to go back to the theatre. They will watch Titanic again as if it were for the first time.”
