Trace Sports for Switzerland’s Sunrise

Trace Sports, the sports entertainment channel, has announced a carriage deal with Sunrise, one of Switzerland’s leading private telco providers.
Sunrise is the fourth operator in Switzerland, after Cablecom, Naxoo and Netdream, to distribute Trace Sports. As part of the deal, brokered by US Media, the newly launched HD channel will be available exclusively to customers in Romandie, [French-speaking region of Switzerland] via the telco’s premium package ‘Sunrise TV Set comfort.
Chief Marketing Officer, Timm Degenhardt, said “Sunrise TV is a young platform in the Swiss market, having only launched in 2012, and therefore we are always looking for significant improvements for our customers. With Trace Sports HD, we can now expand our unique proposition with a wider selection of HD content. In addition, Sunrise TV has a strong growth market in Romandie, which is why we feel that Trace Sports HD is a great fit for our business in this region.”
