Mosey quits BBC for college

RogerMoseyRoger Mosey, the BBC’s editorial director and former Olympics overseer, is leaving the corporation to become master of Selwyn College in Cambridge.

It is only two months since Mosey was appointed the BBC’s editorial director, a “troubleshooter” role reporting to the recently appointed director general, Tony Hall.

Mosey, who oversaw the BBC’s acclaimed coverage of the London 2012 Olympics, has held a number of senior jobs across the BBC including director of sport, controller of BBC Radio 5 Live and editor of Today.
