ADB to debut ultra-broadband gateways and cloud-based multi-screen solutions at BBWF 2013

Advanced Digital Broadcast (ADB), a supplier of advanced solutions for the connected home, will introduce its cloud-based multi-screen IPTV solution and several new ultra-broadband and fibre devices on Stand G28 at Broadband World Forum 2013, 22nd-24th October, Amsterdam. These new products enable operators to reduce operating costs and increase ARPU as they expand their ultra-broadband services for the connected home.

Highlights on the stand will include ADB’s upcoming cloud multi-screen solution, which delivers pay-TV and OTT content from the cloud in HTML5 format to a range of connected devices without requiring any additional hardware in the home, and Graphyne, ADB’s elegant, consistent and uniquely content-centric next generation multi-screen user experience designed for TVs, tablets, smartphones and gateways.

In addition, ADB will debut two ultra-broadband VDSL gateways for triple-play services that enable operators to deliver premium quality internet, voice/VOIP and IPTV services to subscribers, featuring VDSL bonding and supporting bi-directional 100Mbps access over copper networks. ADB will also be showcasing its new solution for GPON installations, which is designed to simplify fibre installation in the home, dramatically reducing deployment costs.

ADB’s smart home gateways will be running ADB’s award-winning Epicentro software platform, which enables them to act as multi-service hubs. ADB will highlight how operators can easily add premium applications and services such as healthcare, home automation and energy management and manage these remotely. Operators can also use Epicentro to remotely manage the entire home network and highlight and fix technical issues often before the end user is aware of a problem.
