BT Sport makes weekend of Premiership Rugby available for all

March 20, 2014

BT Sport will be making a bumper weekend of Aviva Premiership Rugby available for anyone to watch, including Saracens trip to Wembley to take on Harlequins on March 22nd.

The live rugby marathon kicks off on Friday March 21 when Worcester Warriors host London Wasps at Sixways, followed by the Wembley showdown which is back-to-back with Bath Rugby’s trip to London Irish at 5.30pm. The match at the Madejski Stadium is London Irish’s traditional St Patrick’s Day Party, which always brings a bumper crowd to Reading.

The weekend of live matches on BT Sport concludes on Sunday March 23 when Welford Road hosts the clash between Leicester Tigers and Exeter Chiefs.

Viewers can watch the games on Sky and Virgin TV. BT Sport subscribers with BT TV will be able to watch as usual.

Viewers can watch on the following channels: BT TV (507/510/58), Sky (413/426), Virgin (547/549).

BT Sport is free with BT Broadband. Customers who wish to watch via their TVs require a set top box: for BT TV customers this is a YouView box with BT Infinity, for Sky TV customers this is via Sky’s digital satellite platform. Customers taking BT Sport via Sky’s digital satellite platform can access the channels with just one call to BT.

TV customers who receive the channels via BT TV with BT Infinity or on the Sky digital satellite platform have the option of receiving the channels in HD for just £3 a month.

Virgin Media XL TV customers can access BT Sport as part of their packages; Virgin Media also offers the channels as a standalone premium service to TV customers who do not take the XL pack.

Customers without BT Broadband can also receive the channels through the Sky Digital Satellite platform for £15 per month in high definition or £12 in standard definition. There is no requirement for customers to take a Sky TV subscription as BT Sport is retailed by BT.
