blinkx, the Internet Media platform, has anounced the launch of Branded Content Hubs. Available to top brands and media partners, Branded Content Hubs are a new series of immersive channels built on short and long form videos from recognisable networks, professional sports, studios and more. Advertising will be placed against the videos in each Content Hub and revenue shared between blinkx and its content partners.
blinkx debuts its first Content Hub in partnership with IGN, an online media company specialised in video gaming. The IGN Branded Content Hub, featuring channels such as IGN Daily Fix, IGN News and IGN Conversations, is available here. blinkx expects to unveil additional Content Hubs with more premium partners in coming months.
“As blinkx continues to partner with highly respected major networks and video producers, this new offering lets us seamlessly integrate them into the blinkx platform, powering our video categories and search on blinkx.com, while still maintaining each partner’s distinct brand identity,” said Dan Slivjanovski, SVP, Chief Marketing Officer of blinkx. “Branded Content Hubs present an engaging and unique opportunity for users, advertisers and producers alike, offering a chance for blinkx’s video-viewing audience to discover more content created by the brands behind their favorite clips, and for those brands to connect with viewers through social media, promotions and more. We are very pleased to offer Branded Content Hubs alongside blinkx VideoAdvantage, our premium syndication platform, as an exciting new way for content producers to reach their audience.”
