Zon Optimus launches satellite-based convergent offer

Portuguese operator Zon Optimus has launched Zon4i Satélite, a quadruple-play offer for satellite subscribers, that complements the existing offers on cable and fibre.
Pay-TV, Internet, fixed voice and mobile telephony services are offered in combined packages of 1 to 4 services, for both residential and business customers.
The cheapest package, Zon 1P Satelite, costs €11.49/month, includes only the pay-TV service, but customers can select from six different packages. Zon 2P Satelite (TV + fixed voice) costs €24,49/month; Zon 3P Satelite (TV + Internet + fixed voice) is available from €49.99/month, while Zon 3i Satelite (TV + fixed voice + mobile voice) costs €64.99/month.
The basic monthly subscription for the quadruple package (Zon4i) costs €79.99 and customers get 81 TV channels, including premium channels TVC1 HD, TVC2 HD, TVC3 HD, TVC4 HD and TVSéries HD, as well as 18 other HD channels. Also included in the package are fixed internet with speeds of up to 40 Mbps, unlimited national and international fixed voice calls, two mobile telephony cards with SMS and calls to all fixed and mobile networks in Portugal, plus 200 MB of internet traffic.
Zon Optimus currently has 1.6 million pay-TV subscribers, 3.6 million mobile telephony customers, 1.2 million fixed voice customers, as well as 917.000 fixed broadband customers in Portugal.
