France Télévisions trials HbbTV interactive ads
June 3, 2014
From Pascale Paoli-Lebailly in Paris
In partnership with French TV business solution provider ClickOn, France Télévisions advertising unit, France Télévisions Publicité, is launching PSB Group’s first HbbTV interactive ad campaign.
From now until June 8th, interactive TV spots from French bank Caisse d’Epargne will run on both the France 2 and France 5 channels, allowing DTT viewers equipped with HbbTV smart TVs to access a special promotion when opening a bank account. If their TV is connected to the web, users just have to click from their remote control to be called back by the bank.
Viewers are alerted about the interactive spots via a pop-up window synchronised with the TV live feed.
