From David Del Valle in Madrid
TiVo service is growing in Spain with 407,000 subscribers through ONO, the country’s largest cable company, representing more than half of its total subscribers.
TiVo has become the main driving force behind the growth of the ONO’s pay-TV service. With more than 120 channels (43 on HD), a 500 Gbytes hard disk and a videoclub service with more than 2,800 content, TiVo is giving a definitive boost to ONO.
“We have achieved a record number of users on TiVo, the most advanced TV service”, said Patricia Ferruz, Director of Residential at ONO. “It will become the main reference in pay TV in our country”, she concluded.
