Free Sky Sports for Premier League kick-off

Mesut OzilSky Sports is making its bouquet of channels available for free to Sky, Virgin Media, TalkTalk and UPC households on the opening day of the Premier League football season.

From 6am on August 16th all viewers who don’t have a Sky Sports subscription can watch sporting action in full HD on Sky Sports 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 – as well as Sky Sports F1 HD (for Sky and Virgin customers only).

On the first day of the 2014/15 Premier League season, Arsenal take on Crystal Palace from 5.30pm, live on Sky Sports 1 HD. Live coverage of the fifth cricket Test between England and India will also be available on Sky Sports 2 HD.

Other events throughout the day include live football from the Sky Bet Championship with Leeds taking on Middlesbrough  (Sky Sports 1 HD); In Rugby Union, Australia will take on New Zealand (Sky Sports 2 HD); Live European Tour Golf from the penultimate day of the inaugural Made in Denmark competition (Sky Sports 2 HD); and PGA Tour golf with the Wyndham Championship (Sky Sports 4 HD).
