Gardos named Mediamorph CEO

Mediamorph, the leading cross-platform Media and Entertainment data management and analytics firm, is pleased to announce that Rob Gardos has been appointed as CEO. Mike Sid, company Co-Founder, will remain a member of the Board of Directors and as Chief Strategy Officer will focus his efforts on corporate and product strategy.

Sid founded the company in 2007 with Shahid Kahn, Chairman of the Board, and led the firm through a phase of rapid growth. Mediamorph’s customers include all major Hollywood studios, leading television networks and the largest video service operators.  The company operates offices in New York, Los Angeles and London monitoring $10 billion in revenue tied to over 1.2 million film, television and video products. On a monthly basis, the platform tracks data and reporting from 600+ platforms globally, rights from over 400 content providers and analyses the streaming of more than 4 billion videos per month.

Gardos brings a wealth of growth-stage software experience. He was the CTO and General Manager of register.com growing the company into one of the internet’s largest domain name registrars in the world. He went on to found GridApp Systems, a database management automation platform that was acquired by BMC systems. Most recently, he was CEO and President of LiiiiKE, an iOS mobile shopping app that aggregates fashion deals and personalizes the experience.
