FOXLife to launch in Spain

August 28, 2014

Entertainment channel FOXLife is slated to launch in Spain in October. The fully localised 24-hour network will be available on all the most relevant Spanish pay-TV platforms, reaching 2.6 million subscribers within DTH, cable, IPTV and OTT services.

The FOXLife launch rounds out FOX International Channels (FIC)’s portfolio in the market, which currently includes pay networks in the entertainment and factual segments via FOX and the suite of National Geographic branded channels. The new channel will offer an inspiring mix of scripted and unscripted content that is targeted at a female audience.

“We are thrilled to launch FOXLife in Spain. The brand is core to our global entertainment portfolio and its entry into this market signals FIC’s continued investment and confidence in Spain,” says Adam Theiler, EVP of FIC Southern Europe and Head of FIC Spain. “We are looking forward to introducing this great product and to entertaining local audiences with its addictive content.”
