Petrocelli joins Friend MTS

Friend MTS, a video content protection provider, has announced the appointment of Mike Petrocelli as Senior VP Sales and Business Development, Americas. Petrocelli will head Friend MTS’ Americas Division, Friend MTS to strengthen the company’s positioning and efforts in that region.

Mike brings extensive experience, a rich portfolio and the necessary leadership skills that will help us drive and maintain our efforts in the Americas,” said Jonathan Friend, Founder and CTO of Friend MTS. “Mike and I have collaborated on various levels over the years and I am delighted that he has accepted to head Friend MTS Inc.’s endeavours.”
Petrocelli brings to the company 20 years’ experience of working with the entertainment industry (sports, music, broadcast and film) to successfully develop and execute content identification and protection strategies. Prior to joining Friend MTS, he led Civolution’s sales and business development efforts in the Americas. He has spent the previous 15 years in leading sales and business development efforts at a number of content identification companies
focusing on forensic watermarking, ACR, conditional access and digital rights management; employed in companies such as Widevine Technologies (a Google Company) and Irdeto.
