Spain’s Canal Plus is refocusing its OTT service Yomvi on VoD content. To this end, Canal Plus has launched Yomvi Play with a selection of series and TV movies at a fee of €6 per month when the promotional period comes to an end by the end of the year.
Yomvi Play is available on PCs, smartphones, tablets and LG and Samsung smart TVs. Canal Plus is also strengthening its Yomvi catalogue with up to 5,000 titles, including 100 TV series like The Sopranos, True Blood and Friends, and movies, kids programmes and documentaries.
Other OTT services like Wuaki.tv are also making moves to strengthen its offer following an agreement with Mediapro and TotalChannel to offer a package of football, movies and TV series
