October 16, 2014

TalkTalk has agreed a deal with NBCUniversal to bring a new content package to TalkTalk TV customers. The package, branded TVBox, will give on demand box sets of hit US TV series including Suits, Grimm and all seven seasons of 30 Rock to users of YouView from TalkTalk.

TVBox Boost is a bespoke package created by NBCUniversal tailored to TalkTalk’s 1.1 million TV customers. The package will be available for £5 a month, providing unlimited access to hours of on demand content. To give viewers a taste of the action, TalkTalk is also giving viewers the chance to watch TVBox for free for a month, starting from 9th October.

Olivia Streatfeild, Commercial Director, TalkTalk said “This is a really exciting step forward for our TV service. We want to give our customers access to even more great TV at a great price, and this partnership with NBCUniversal does just that. As our service grows, so do our ambitions; we’re innovating with on demand content and this is another example of how TV from TalkTalk just keeps getting better.”
