January 12, 2015

UK television manufacturer Cello Electronics is adding Stream TV Networks’ glasses-free 3D technology to its product line. The televisions, initially ranging from 50 to 65 inches in size, utilise 4K panels for maximum clarity and feature real-time conversion into the special Ultra-D format from any 2D or 3D source.

“Stream TV’s 3D-without-glasses viewing experience is amazing,” said Brian Palmer, Cello CEO. “Enhancing our products with this cutting-edge technology is an absolute game changer and we look forward to bringing it to the European markets.”

“Our global reach continues to grow with the addition of Cello to our family of brand partners,” echoed Stream TV Networks CEO, Mathu Rajan. “Their reputation for quality makes Cello a perfect partner and we are excited to work with them.”

With anticipated pricing of £2,500 for the 50-inch model and £3,500 for the 65-inch model, the new televisions from Cello will feature Qualcomm’s 8074 Snapdragon chip for real-time Ultra-D processing of content from any source: Blu-ray, cable, satellite, Xbox, PlayStation, and OTT services like Netflix. All models allow viewers to adjust the amount of depth for a truly comfortable viewing experience.
