Clearleap VoD for A+E

January 14, 2015

Clearleap has announced a new partnership with A+E Networks. The deal enables on-demand access to A+E Networks’ premium content across its portfolio of brands, including A&E, History, Lifetime, FYI, LMN and H2.

“A+E Networks has truly set the standard for producing premium, engaging programmes across major branded channels, while simultaneously capitalising on evolving viewer preferences,” said Braxton Jarratt, CEO of Clearleap. “With this partnership, we have the opportunity to bolster A+E Networks’ extensive video offerings while working alongside one of the largest, most respected and premium brands in the pay-TV industry.”

“The logistics of publishing on-demand content have become dramatically complex,” said Richard Shirley, A+E Networks’ Vice President of Distribution Business Development. “At A+E, we’re always looking to leverage technologies that will help us manage complexities and ensure the content viewers are looking for is available when they want it.”
The partnership, which launched last year, marks the first agreement between both companies and includes the opportunity for the addition of multiplatform services. Clearleap’s proven ability to accelerate the publishing and distribution of massive amounts of video content to any screen, coupled with their extensive IP distribution network across the US and Canada, offers customers a future-proofed solution in a continuously-evolving multiscreen and on-demand television landscape.
