FilmOn expands FilmBox deal

Three new channels will be added to SPI International’s agreement with FilmOn Networks to distribute its FilmBox channels, the companies have revealed. Fast &FunBox HD, 360 TuneBox and FilmBox Arthouse have joined the channels already available at filmon.com: FightBox HD, DocuBox HD and FashionBox HD.
All six channels from SPI will be accessible to Filmon.com’s 65 million monthly users around the world-expanding FilmOn’s position as the world’s largest IP-delivered digital television provider. SPI leverages relationships with leading content creators such as The Weinstein Company, Focus Features , Studio Canal and the BBC to distribute distinguished content internationally.

Kim Hurwitz, SVP, Programming for FilmOn said SPI International provided the platform with six premium HD channels for its subscription package which satisfied its most popular verticals: Sports, Movies, Music and Fashion.
