OSN, du partner for OTT TV

Dubai-based pay-TV operator OSN is teaming up with UAE regional telco du to offer online TV platform OSN Play for free as part of OSN subscriptions on du.

Emad Marcos, senior vice president, business development, strategy and digital, OSN, said the partnership would further expand the already-strong reach of OSN Play among UAE residents. “OSN Play places our subscribers in charge of the content that they prefer to watch, and gives them the flexibility of choosing from a diverse array of exclusive and premium programming. With sports, family entertainment and news available on the go through OSN Play, du’s OSN subscribers will now benefit from the added value that we offer,” he added.

Channels streamed live on OSN Play include OSN Sports 1, OSN Sports 2, OSN Sports Cricket, Disney Jr, Sky News, JimJam and Food Network. Play also offers Egyptian comedies and Arabic drama series, including Al Ishq Al Awsad season one and Aneesa Al Waneesa season one.

Samer Geissah, vice president consumer home and multimedia services, du, said the service provider tried continuously to add value to its customers with the latest in digital entertainment, which had been pivotal in its rapid growth as a preferred telecom service provider. “With technology advancements redefining the television sector, our partnership with OSN, will enable our subscribers to leverage all digital platforms to access their preferred television programmes,” he suggested.
