MTG to show Champions League in Finland

April 15, 2015

MTG will show all the matches from UEFA Champions League in Finland for three years starting from the 2015/2016 season, on Viaplay and a new TV channel.

The new Viasat Sport Finland channel will show the key matches live with local commentary from every Tuesday and Wednesday match day in the group and knock-out rounds, as well as the Saturday final.

Viasat Sport Finland will be MTG’s new flagship sports channel in the country. It will be available to all Finnish households through Viasat’s DTH satellite platform, as well as third party cable, IPTV and DTT providers. Besides the football, the channel will also show live ice hockey matches from both the NHL and KHL.

Subscribers to the online streaming service Viaplay will be able to select from all matches, meaning it has never been easier for Finnish football fans to follow their favourite European side.
