June 2, 2015

Enhanced Telecommunications, trading as ETI Software Solutions, has augmented its sales team with the addition of Mark Torrans, who will serve as VP of Sales, Europe. Torrans has been recognised as a strong team builder and facilitator, committed towards the delivery of service excellence. With over 20 years of sales and business development experience, Torrans is charged with expanding the European market and is based in ETI’s UKHeadquarters.

Torrans started his career within the Ministry of Defence, which encompassed strong understanding of RF technology.  Torrans has held successful sales roles with Marconi Communications and Technicolor in Europe. Prior to joining ETI, he held the position of Regional Director UK, Ireland and Benelux for ZyXEL Communications.

During his tenure with ZyXEL, Torrans increased revenue from €5 million to €10 million over a one year period. At Technicolor, Torrans proved instrumental in achieving and exceeding goals while capitalizing on new opportunities. He produced significant success by enhancing revenues in UK/Irish ISP markets and secured the largest growth sales win on an account for a UK team.
“Mark understands the plentiful opportunities that exist in the European market,” stated Nick Wilcox, CEO of Enhanced Telecommunications, Ltd. “Having Mark onboard is essential for driving new business in Europe and we expect his vast experience in the telecommunications industry to further our international presence.”

“Without doubt, ETI is a market leader in their field and I look forward to working within a team that has been hugely successful in North America,” states Torrans. “ETI has a 23-year history of OSS/BSS integrations for voice, video and data service providers as well as industry-recognized expertise in FTTx deployments,” he continued. “The overall skill set of the team at ETI gave me a strong desire to be a member of this team. My career has been both challenging and rewarding, yet I still have a desire to face new challenges, which I believe ETI will give me. I am looking forward to presenting and delivering the ETI Overture Platform to the European market in 2015.”
