Polish pay-TV broadcaster nc+ has acquired the rights to Polish football league matches for the next four seasons after agreeing a new deal with the Ekstraklasa, and has partnered with Discovery to screen a selection matches on Discovery-owned Eurosport 2.
Under the new deal, matches will be aired live on Canal+, with some games broadcast on Eurosport 2. The contract also allows nc+ to air Polish football on Vivendi-owned video portal Dailymotion.
Under the partnership, nc+ will air six live matches, including the four “top pick” matches from each round of the championship. The remaining four matches will be split between the pay TV broadcaster and Eurosport 2, which is also on the nc+ platform.
