Univision Deportes live stream for CONCACAF

Univision Deportes, the sports division of Univision Communications, a media company serving Hispanic America, has announced the live streaming of the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup football matches as part of the company’s portfolio of digital offerings for the highly anticipated tournament. The full live stream of each match will be available to fans via mobile, tablet and desktop and will include commentary, match stats and social integration. The live stream technology is powered by NeuLion, the technology product and service provider that partnered with Univison Deportes to launch the Univision Deportes app in 2014.
 
“We are pleased to offer our fans live stream access to the Gold Cup on any device, no matter where they are,” said Juan Carlos Rodriguez, president of Univision Deportes. “This speaks to our commitment to delivering the most engaging and relevant soccer experience to soccer fans across the US.”
 
As part of the suite of digital offerings supporting the Gold Cup, Univision Deportes is launching a dedicated website which will include relevant and engaging Gold Cup content, including exclusive interviews with key players, match schedules, score charts, highlights, and stats. Univision Deportes is also providing live clips of the matches that will include top highlights from each match and will be available to sports fans across digital and social properties. Social reporters will be covering matches live from the stadiums, including in-stadium game coverage, fan reactions, and behind-the-scenes content with players. Fans will be able to access the experience through the Univision Deportes accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and Periscope.
