SpaceX problem: “No explanation yet”

The catastrophic loss of a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket on June 28th has yet to have a cause determined, according to SpaceX’s founder and CEO Elon Musk. He confirmed that the loss did not appear to have a straightforward cause.
“Whatever happened is clearly not a sort of simple, straightforward thing,” he said. “There’s still no clear theory that fits with all the data.” Musk added that one theory was that some of the transmitted data had been corrupted, and one of his team’s tasks was making a “millisecond by millisecond” timeline of events that took place prior to the rocket explosion.
Nevertheless, Musk expressed confidence that by this coming weekend SpaceX would have most of the answers.
Musk gave no indication as to when the Falcon-9 rocket might return to service.
