3SS selects Metrological

3 Screen Solutions (3SS), a provider of customised software solutions and services to the multiscreen digital entertainment industry, has joined Metrological’s preferred content partnership programme to develop new applications and services for pay-TV operators. The partnership will help content providers to design, develop and deliver new and engaging apps that enrich the pay-TV viewing experience for consumers.
The 3SS-developed apps will be published in the Metrological App Library, giving operators the ability to pick and choose app line-ups that are best suited for their customer base. By using the Metrological Application Platform and open source SDK, apps only need to be developed once to run on all set-top boxes across more than 20 million homes. The Metrological Application Platform also includes business intelligence solutions and monetisation tools that help content owners to further leverage their brand and increase revenue.
