Anvato powers live OTT with dynamic ad insertion for top brands

September 1, 2015

Anvato, the complete TV Everywhere and OTT platform provider, is powering the live TV Everywhere offerings for Scripps Networks Interactive brands HGTV, Food Network, Travel Channel, Cooking Channel, and DIY Network. Delivering content to tens of millions of pay-TV subscribers in the US, Scripps Networks Interactive is a premier content owner and media company.

Anvato’s Media Content Platform (MCP) delivers live streaming on brand-specific websites, with dynamic ad insertion (DAI) capabilities not only on desktop but also mobile and connected devices. This multiplatform launch allows audiences of these popular channels to first authenticate with their cable, satellite service providers (MVPDs) and then watch a 24×7 stream. Local ad breaks are dynamically targeted per MVPD for each user and stitched on the server side for a truly multiplatform and smooth viewing experience.

“Anvato has greatly simplified the process of deploying our TV brands to screens anywhere and everywhere, and helped us optimise advertisements with dynamic insertion of relevant ads for each authenticated user,” said Alix Baudin, senior vice president and general manager, digital product and operations at Scripps Networks Interactive. “Anvato’s platform and comprehensive toolset provides a compelling, rich TV Everywhere experience for our viewers.”

“Scripps Networks Interactive is launching exciting new capabilities that put user experience first,” said Alper Turgut, Anvato CEO. “Our server-side ad insertion eliminates spinning wheels, ad-blockers and delivers truly seamless viewing experiences on all platforms while maximizing monetization. Many of the industry’s leading content providers continue to turn to Anvato for their TV Everywhere services, thanks to our truly comprehensive, extremely scalable, and easy to manage software platform.”  Anvato not only makes it possible to deliver high quality live TV on any screen, but also enables monetisation and advanced features such as social syndication.”
