Food Network HD for Czech Republic

Scripps Networks UK & EMEA has announced that as part of their pan-regional deal with Liberty Global, Food Network has launched in HD in the Czech language on UPC Czech Republic, the largest provider of pay-TV services in the country. Food Network HD, the global food, entertainment and lifestyle brand, will be available from the 4th of September as part of the digital basic package.
The deal follows the recent announcement of the launch of Food Network in the Czech language by the DTH platforms Skylink (both SD and HD versions) and freeSAT, as well a number of regional cable operators in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
