The HbbTV Association, a global initiative dedicated to providing an open standard for the delivery of broadcast and broadband services through connected TVs and set-top boxes, is pleased to announce that more than 45 companies will be displaying HbbTV demonstrations and products at the upcoming IBC show.

Worldwide momentum for HbbTV has been accelerating in 2015. The elevated interest in HbbTV at IBC parallels the growing number of HbbTV deployments around the globe coupled with the increasing consumer availability of HbbTV devices. A full list of the HbbTV demos and contact information can be found on our website. 15 of these companies will showcase HbbTV 2.0 technology.

The HbbTV Association will also be launching its newly designed website on September 8th in time for IBC 2015. Featuring improved navigation and an updated user experience, the website includes all of HbbTV’s specifications with background information, information on the organisation, its membership and links to news and events. The newly designed website will allow visitors to learn about HbbTV with ease. Shortly after the launch, the website will be expanded with detailed information about deployments around the world.
