France: Molotov to launch with 80+ channels

Molotov, a new service for the distribution of television channels, has entered into OTT distribution agreements with a number of major French television broadcast partners including TF1, France Télévisions, M6, Arte, Nextradio TV, Lagardère Active, La Chaine Parlementaire, Public Sénat, Groupe AB, Disney Channel, Turner, Viacom, Euronews, France 24, TV5 Monde, TRACE, Gong média, Nolife, Nautical Channel, Les Chaines Interactives, Fashion TV, Luxe TV.

As a result of these agreements, Molotov will be hosting over 80 French and international TV Channels on its distribution platform.

Molotov will further enrich its innovative TV offering in the coming months with new partnerships and services, including OCS, a 100 per cent movie and TV Show channel package and beINSports. Together with INA, the French National Audiovisual Institute – a repository of all French radio and television audiovisual archives, Molotov is also exploring the integration of its new service INA Premium.

CSA, the French Audiovisual Council, will be offered a preview of Molotov on November 4th. Molotov will then be accessible to people who registered on molotov.tv before a grand opening.
