WWE Network exceeds 1.2m subs in Q3

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has reported that its WWE Network SVoD service reached 1.233 million paid subscribers as of the end of the third quarter (to September 30th). The network attracted an average of 1.173 paid subscribers during the quarter.
The paid subscriber count was up from 1.156 subscribers at the end of the second quarter, yet down from the peak of 1.327 million subscribers the day after WrestleMania 31 on March 30th. WWE also noted that the overall subscriber count included 243,000 international subscribers.
Since the network launched it has brought in almost 2.3 million unique subscribers (who can cancel their subscription at any time), and about 54 per cent of those subscribers were active as of September 30th.
