Dubai’s CABSAT show was the catalyst for an output deal for Mumbai-based TravelXP, a high-quality travel and lifestyle channel. Announced by TravelXP’s CEO Prashant Chothani, the agreement sees the channel expand onto the ‘Du’ IPTV system in the UAE and Oman.

The channel is already available on Qatar’s Qtel system, and says it is now available to more than 40 million households in particular across India and is firmly in the premium sector, with syndication now in more than 45 TV networks.

TravelXP says it holds the largest library of travel and related content in the world, and as well as via the TV set its output is also offered to airline passengers on Air India, Cathay Pacific, Qatar Airlines, Etihad, Jet Airways and Oman Air.

It is also investing heavily in 4K destination, culture, nature, food and lifestyle programming.
