Brightcove, a provider of cloud services for video, has appointed Mark Blair to Vice President of EMEA where he will lead the company’s Europe, Middle East, and Africa sales and marketing operations, and will serve as a member of Brightcove’s executive leadership team.

Blair joins the EMEA region following success as Vice President of Asia-Pacific (APAC), where he drove business growth with high-visibility wins in OTT services, as well as with leading brands and enterprises that use video for digital marketing and communications.

Blair commented: “After six years heading up operations for Brightcove in APAC, I’m delighted to be making the move back to London and am ready for my next challenge. The video industry is at an exciting inflexion point, as the growth of devices and rising consumer expectations drive broadcasters and brands to deliver unique video experiences. I look forward to continuing to cement our position in the marketplace across Europe.”
