TERN (Television Entertainment Reality Network) International has confirmed the launch of INSIGHT TV in HD in the UK on the Sky platform and in Spain in UHD with Vodafone.
UK – HD
The channel will launch on Sky’s digital satellite platform in HD. INSIGHT TV’s exclusive and original programming such as SpartanX, Dracula and Power & … will be available in more than 12 million UK households through the Sky digital satellite platform from April 5.
Europe – UHD
INSIGHT TV is also expanding its footprint to other European markets. The channel has announced a partnership with Vodafone in Spain. Vodafone Spain is to launch the first 4K set-top box in the Spanish market and will make INSIGHT available to the network’s subscribers in UHD from Summer 2016.
Global Growth – UHD
Earlier in April, INSIGHT TV launched on the MEASAT-3a satellite. Distributed from the 91.5 degrees East Video ‘Hotslot’, the channel will reach over 200 million TV households across Asia, Africa, Middle East, Europe and Australia. In the coming months, INSIGHT TV will be announcing further expansion into other European and Asian regions, giving even more viewers access to the Ultra HD channel.
TERN International is also leveraging support from key partners including SES, ITV Network, Tricolor and United4All. The channel is already broadcasting in HD and Ultra HD via SES satellite at Astra 19.2 degrees East.

Since the launch of INSIGHT TV six months ago, we have been delighted by the industry interest shown in our high quality, Ultra HD reality, entertainment, extreme sports and game show content. This is a hugely exciting time for TERN International and we will be announcing further partnerships in the coming months.”

Investing in UHD programming
TERN produces over 200 hours of original Ultra HD content a year, co-created alongside industry-leading production houses including Zodiak Media, KIEM and Strix.
The company recently teamed up with production company Flare Media to create four new shows throughout 2016: Anger Island, The Boy Next Door, Show Me the Money and With a Little Help From Your Enemy.
