Chandra steps down from Zee Media

Subhash Chandra is stepping down from his roles as non-executive chairman and director of Zee Media.
An official filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange states that a meeting of the Zee Media board on May 24th recorded the resignation of Chandra with immediate effect.
The filing also reported that R K Arora had been appointed as Executive Director and CEO of the company. Arora will manage all of Zee Media’s news channels.
Arora, a chartered accountant by profession, stepped down as CEO of News Nation Network last week.
Chandra stays on as chairman of the Essel Group, and other Zee-related businesses.
