Neotion, a provider of CAMs, has announced an expanded partnership with Viaccess-Orca, a global player in the protection and enhancement of content services. Neotion now offers seamless integration between Viaccess-Orca’s Adaptive Sentinel dual card and cardless Conditional Access System (CAS) and its own Conditional Access Module (CAM) portfolio.

Through the partnership, Viaccess-Orca’s Adaptive Sentinel has been embedded in the certified Neotion CIPlus 1.3 modules portfolio, providing pay-TV operators with secure content protection for satellite, terrestrial and cable applications. The combined solution ensures the delivery of premium content via a compact, green and smart design that enables the digital pay-TV industry to address the growing concern over piracy.

“Viaccess-Orca and Neotion have a longstanding working relationship, allowing us to provide customers with an innovative dual card and cardless solution that is both secure and flexible. Ultimately, this enables pay-TV operators to choose the best way to address the market: starting with a cardless-based solution, with the opportunity to move toward a card-based solution. This next step in our partnership with Viaccess-Orca is a solid basis for future CAM business development,” said Olivier Demoly – Sales and Marketing Director at Neotion.

“Viaccess-Orca’s Adaptive Sentinel solution is a unified, end-to-end card and cardless Conditional Access system that is secure and cost-effective, enabling quick time-to-market for pay-TV services. Together with Neotion’s CI Plus CAM, we offer even more flexibility, making it easy for operators to deliver content securely” said Chem Assayag, EVP Marketing & Sales at Viaccess-Orca.
